It's time I stop lurking and begin contributing. I've begun learning Sketchup Pro, because it seems to be a good starting point for a novice, and have a general knowledge of Pepakura.
I'd love to practice unfolding using other people's designs from Sketchup's warehouse. Does anyone know of a simple way of lowering the poly count in Sketchup? If not, is there any freeware software that might aid in lowering the poly count of a model? Or of a tutorial to do it manually?
