Just finished 3 tank cars - sort of

    I just finished three tank cars for my British layout. Not quite what you'd expect for a tank car.

    Strange, when I saw the title I didn't think of army tanks but rather the cylindrical type. Caught me by surprise. Nice work Jon. The flat cars look like they may need a bit more bracing to handle the weight of those tanks

    They are plastic kits by 'Emhar'

    My son put the kit together, only trouble is that it is 1/72, rather than 1/76, so it overhangs the flat car sides slightly.
