Thanks to Mike Fifer and Shamus

Thanks for the warm welcome and details on lighting.

I hope to put the photo information to good use in the next few weeks.

The next hurdle is uploading the shots. That will take a while I suppose. My last two attempts have not been successful.

What camera do you use ?

Recently I sold my film camera equipment (Minolta 9xi) and
bought a Canon 10D digital SLR. I am starting to "get up
to speed" with it, and really enjoy digital photography. I
am really impressed with the photography I have seen on
the Gauge forum site.

Shamus.... your photography, and your layout is fantastic !!!
It certainly gives me a lot to shoot for, in both areas. I have
read and re-read your excellent article in the March issue of MR.

I recently retired for the second (and final) time, and I am
finally finding the time to resume my model railroading hobby
that I discontinued about 40 years ago. I am modeling the
Great Northern Rwy., in HO scale, circa 1948-1950 (Steam
and Early Diesel).

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the Gauge forum....
it is the best one out there, and I have gathered a lot of
much needed information on your site thus far.

Thanks to all for a GREAT forum.
