    Hello All,

I am terribly excited about card modeling and the bug has bitten me!

Shouting greetings from the sunny Isle of Jamaica. Home of Reggae, Red Stripe beer, Usain Bolt and yes .... white sand beaches for miles and miles.

Ok back to what i am saying... it is a honor to find a site like this to help me with my model building. This will be my first time but i like the complexity and amazing detail that i have seen being achieved here.

I just started cutting out formers to build front fuselage and cockpit area. I will post pics (soon as i find out how) as my model progress.

    Cheers .

    Tha Flying Rasta.

Nice work! Chuck the X-Acto blades in the trash. You get more productivity and precision out of surgical steel blades. You can get a box and a handle at your local med supply house.

sorry to take so long in getting back here. I am in the motion pic ure industry in Jamaica and it gives little time to do what i like best. modelling!.

eric .... I dont know the first thing about vacum forming and if it is easy for me to do... sounds quite intimidating. ... any tips?

col. kurts ........ thanks alot for your kind words..... will try to tackle the cockpit later.
even though i am new to this .... its almost like fish to water. just trying to get as much GPM and HALINSKI kits as possible for future build.

anyway. i have taken a few pics before the build and i wanted to show my build progress from beginning.

    Cheers all.

the pics dont do justice to the cuts.... darn it!! now i gotta learn how to take pics!!.

errrr.... who said this hobby was cheap? .... ah well, back to the cutting board!

    will post as time allows.

    Rasta,
Great work my friend.I do have one question for you though. Are you using plastic stock for your framing or is it just my monitor that makes card stock look like plastic?I ask because I've been kicking around the idea of using plastic on my next project. That is as soon as I get my Macchi 202 finished. It's my first card model too.
    Regards,
    Gregory Jouette
