Nice work Flu. That's a very detailed funnel for a JSC model. I've never seen a JSC model with that much detail on the grating. Then again, I've only built the older JSC models.

    This is very nice.

Excellent boat and excellent work ....... I am his brother, the Shinano, and the hull is very similar, I think the simplest Shinano is that the superstructure of the Yamato is a challenge, a challenge which you are riding very well.

I do not know if I can wait for tomorrow, I have already assembled a JSC and now I am riding the Titanic, I know the difficulty of working with the scale 1:400. Those doing a great job.

    Un saludo

Very nice work on the small details Flu. I like the platforms, handrails and ladders. They look great, but very small at this scale.

The ship would look naked without them. Great work!

    handrails and ladders

I'm pleased to see someone other that works at a small scale.

A question for You: the handrails and ladders that You are using, are they photo-etched? Are they in bundle with the modell or have you bought them elsewhere? and if yes, where?

I have the same problem, but at 1/480 scale , with the handrails of the Crwaler, as you can see in the tread in my signature and I looking for a solution other than that I'm currently using (paper made handrails).

    Thanks in advance
    My compliments :thumb:

Ahh... The distinctive main mast of Yamato. I love it. Great job Flu. I like the range finders too. Scratch-built from etched parts. They almost look like the mesh from window screens.

Keep up the great work Flu!

Great progress, I would love to try a ship again when I am finished doing my design and build of a plane.
