    GPM, J2M3 RAIDEN "Jack" finished...........

    Hi friends,

as an intermediate step the pics from the finished RAIDEN, look for yourself:

The only part I´m not realy satisfied is the propellers cone (I don´s know the right word in english..........) but that results on my mistake.......the model at all is ok for me.

Thanks Carl, priceless as usual. :D

I have personally never had any of those types of spinner come out well. I prefer the kind that are built up from strips. I will get to that on my build in 2 months or so at this rate :) I reckon I wont get this out on time for christmas :( ah well - at least we have this one to admire! Excellent job on the weathering - I really love how yours turns out everytime.
    Thanks
    Chris

Hi friends, look for the new spinner.......

    Hi friends,

I designed a new spinner. So i take the chance to visualize GoldenBears explanation...........

the design on a sheet of cardboard (no CAD, no Computer, only pencil, ruler and brain........)

with a spline the tips are designed
    [IMG]

    the cutted piece.......

    the rolled tips
    [IMG]

    and the finished spinner
    [IMG]

    and unbelievable it fits.............

so have a nice day.....FLU (coloring the spinner will be done after drying....)

    Excellent work, Flu...again 8v)

Your new spinner looks great. I am still trying to figure out how you drew it from the photos. I have been trying to figure out how that type of part is drawn for a while. Your photos is helping.

    Again...good looking model.
