Yes another weekend has passed by, what did we get done in the world of modeling?

For me I spent the weekend at the train show, ( see HO thread). Spent alot more money than I wanted to. but I'm set for a few months.
I did manage to paint up an M of W vehicle out of a Hotwheels van, stripped it during the week, then on Friday night I primed it, Sat. I painted it, Sun. morning I decaled it, looks okay for what it is.

I did run trains, had to test out my new purchases. -:thumb:

Hope everyone had a great weekend!:)

Spent most of the time tweaking some fresh laid track, and making a list of whats needed to start on another section of the layout. Brian if I would have had your luck this weekend I almost would have spent it on a casino :D

On Saturday I repaired a bit of scenery that got damaged when I put the two Layout halves back together. Sunday I was at the museum where our club layout is running trains for the public. I managed to break in my two Geeps and SW1200 there.

I hooked up my Water Tower Diorama to the temporary layout and ran my new IHC Lehigh & New England 0-8-0 switcher a cross it. I also added more foliage to the diorama. All in all a good modeling weekend!

Well, the main floor is finally painted - I just have the kitchen cabinet doors to do - so my wife and I took yesterday off from house stuff, and I started on my integrated "workstation" (i.e., it's part of the new layout, complete with a tabletop staging yard that is covered up for doing modeling projects, and a loop through route at 53"). Looks pretty kewl so far, the superstructure is all up - I'm going to start on the staging yard tonight.

Managed to clean up a seriously bad weathering job on the B&MC's newest motive power, a powered pair of P2K E8/9s in Alantic Coast Line colors. The silver had been damaged by the paint used for the clear flat finish and the black running gear and roofs were just.....oooooOoooo (shudder) Looking forward to seeing how well they pull their 7 matching passenger cars tomorrow.

I got those metal stands straightened out and measured them and the sections of the N scale layout.
They aren't going to work as well as I thought.
The drawers that the controllers and switch panels are in would need to be moved. This will mean doing a good bit of rewiring. I was hoping to avoid that. :(
