Yes, I know the Star Trek remastered series came out quite a while ago. However, I just watched it a few days ago and much to my chagrin, THERE WERE NO TERRAN EMPIRE MARKS OUTSIDE THE SHIP. Nevertheless, I built one of my PL Enterprise kits in Mirror Universe livery with the terran empire markings on it. So now I'm wondering: is the remastered version (The only change being "ISS" instead of "USS") canon, or is the other design (the one on every model Mirror Enterprise model released prior to that episode) canon? So, like the title says: Should we be peeling off the war paint?

Nah. I wouldn't. The markings look very cool, and one could claim that there ship is from another alternate universe where they do have the markings.
That universe can be either more nasty or less psychotic when conquering planets, depending upon your backstory.;)

I'd leave the markings on, myself.
