yes i go racing with my friend but i race one of his t4's
whats he got in his T4, Motor ,ESC, Cells.....
it used to have a duratrax esc(not sure wich)but it got all messed up so no racing with that anymore. the mottor are alway changing. sanyo 3300 cells.hes thinking bout gettint the 3600 but cant justify spending all that money on one battery
Sanyo makes a great cell, if you charge your cells the right way they well last a long time. 3300really rock. What are you using for a charger, Ive got3 dif. ones Digital peak chargers are what I like to use with discharge mode.
the tower hobbies charger/discharger with a gauge. we only fried one pack with it. set it on the charger and came back witht he shrink wrap all shreded and the plastic couting on cells totaly melted.luckily it wass just a duratrax piranah 1800mah pack
those cells are really good to. that must not have been a peak charger. They detect max charge and go to trickle charge. I smoke a stick on a cheap charger once and after that decided to get a digital
i thought it s a peak charger but couldnt of been.but thenm again it was on there for an extra 45min
Batteries hate heat. Or over charging.
well i heard it was ok to over charge a nimh a little but nicads hate it
NIMH are less forgiving.
wait i ment that the other way around
Yea I understand what you meant, so hows it going in your part of the world?
ok, lol. its goin good.been working on my new savy and getting my bandit in perfect working order.it works but needs a new motor and shock shafts and a bumpera nd wing mount. shouldnt cost much besides the motor.its a pain to get the deans plugs on my batteries
Those Dean plugs are the best ,about as close to hard wiring as your gonna get. Yea the rest of your list there should nt cost you to much. What motor are plnning on getting?
a peak jaguar.it seems pretty good for the price.i dont want to spend a lot on it cause i dont know how long ill use it till i sell it but if you have a segestion on motor please tell me
I haven't "raced" but I agree with most of these posts... it's a ratio of building/fixing to racing, have to enjoy both to love it. I've been the proud owner of a nitro car for less then 24 hours and I love it! (haven't even put the tires to the pavement yet)
What do you have now and what have you used in the past?
right now it has the stock stinger 20t motor in.i had a speedgems in it but i gave that to my friend and i went bake to the stock motor.it worked well when it was new but its not rebuildable so i cant bring life back to it. i was thinking bout getting a 12 or 13t
What Speed Gem did you have, I would suggest a 17t. Trinity motors are cake to rebuild. If your looking for the real crazy speed a 8t/3300 pack and gear low. As far as that stinger you might be able to get a couple of miles out of it if you replace the brushes, cutting the comm. would really help if you could do it.
no its not rebiuldable. i dont have the money for the 3300 right now and i dont remember what speedgems it was
