    HWJapan

I got my payment request from HWJapan too. It was just two hours after I wrote my post looking to see if anyone else had gotten one.

    Got CD from HWJapan

I just received my cds from HW Japan, it took about two weeks from receipt of order to request for payment. Then another 4 to 5 days for the package to arrive by post.

I´ve got my CD´s today too. The shipment was a week to europe.
A pitty that everything is written in japanese. Hope to get everything together. But the kits are worth the money they cost.
Hope to see some sbs here.

    Cheers Michael

    How to print Apollonia?

Greetings, I have received the 1/48 scale Apollo 8 from Apollonia after only a week of waiting. I was hoping that between this and the Accueil site I could finally finish the 1/48 scale Saturn 5 that has been sitting in the corner for 2 years now. I was surprised to find that the only utiliity I had that could read the disk is Adobe 9 reader (I don't have the paid version). The problem is that this is formated for A4 paper and I use 8.5 X 11. If I set my priinter to A4 it cuts off some of the items near the margins, if I set it to borderless it prints the images larger then the standard A4 setting, of course if I set it to 8.5 X 11 it prints them to small, and if I copy them out the size changes on everything. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they had found a solution to printing this at the right size. Thanks.

    8.5 x 14

That will work for the ones that I don't need to print on card stock. Have you found 8.5 X 14 card stock?

I go to the Quick Print store and you can get it cut for you I have them cut 110 index and get 25 sheets I live in small city in South Dakota so bigger cities should be able to do it for you.

    Card Stock

Thanks for the offer but once I got my head into the 21st century I checked for 8 X 14 card stock on the internet and found it in an instance. It is on the way. Thanks again.

    Kit bash!!

Well I started the build and was not impressed with the engine. Too much going on. So I took Greelt's J2 engine and installed on the bottom. The parts are just positioned so I could look at it not yet glued. What do you think? I intend to use the cabling and hose parts to make the join.

Also add a small cone for the (gimbal?) connection between your motor and the bottom of the stage and it would blend seamlessly.

    Thanks Yogi

Well I got it glued together before I read your post Yogi. But there is so much going on it dosen't seem to show. I am going to rebuild this section again as I am not satisfied with it. I think the directions are lacking in the photo assembley area but then again it leaves a lot of room for adlib. Maybe some research into NASA images will help.

    Great Job

Great Job! I have 7 J-2 engines from Greelt's model (6 for the Saturn 5 and 1 for the future Saturn 1b)that I made with aluminum paper, I think they came out well and are just waiting for the second stage. I have the Apollo 8 model and I also prefer the Greelt version to the engine from the Apollo 8. Between Greelt, Surfdukes Apollo Command module, and Apollo 8 I figure I can make a really nice third stage. Now if we could just get the second stage I could have it all!
