I have to complete the crawler first.

.... but why don't use the crawler also for the shuttle?:)

... And I am waiting for the progress of Lee Anne Ward to decide ....

... in the mean time I have to continue my hard work on the crawler... soon some news about my progress

And speaking of KSC, I have to ask this question again...

Who wants to do the LUT for the Shuttle? :-D

I don't know, but she wrote in a message:

"I had done a VAB last summer, but have not offered it yet. Photos are
in my folder (Lee Anne's), in the photos section. I've also started
the LCC, and was planning on releasing them together, as they are
physcally connected. No definite scale yet but I might make it to
    match the existing Saturn V/VAB,
    .

    Lee Anne
    "

So we can hope to see something at 1/480

sir Alfonso: making models for all shuttles and shuttle missions with precise detailing for each of these missions, making the crawler, mobile launch platform, making the Mir and ISS plus future STS-related stuff - very much insane too... :-D

    Alfonso,
I am very proud for your congratulations.
Your drawings of the Shuttle, of the Crawler, of the MLP and the entire site is truly a mine of information and an exceptional collection of models that are themselves an actual documentation of the history of the flights of the Shuttle.

I thank you for what you are giving for free to all of us wich love the space, its conquest, and the Shuttle in particular.

Thank You very much, ... but I also agree with Hans about this "fellowship of the insanity" ... sign1

I am also considering doing a paper kit of the Davidson Center for space exploration in 1:480 using the LHVCC Saturn V.

I applaud all of you adventurous types with your small scale wonders. With my eyes, I'm scaling up to 1:12 scale for many of my projects (That's Major Matt Mason scale for those who remember the late 1960's). Your ideas for 1/480 scale dioramas sound very whimsical and intriguing. I hope you'll post more pictures.

    Walkways

Sorry for the lack of news, but I had and I still have some personal problem that took me away from my workbench...

BTW I found on the Kartonbau.de forum a thread about scratchbuilding ship railings with paper.

It's so astounding this way to build the railings, that I'd like to try it on my crawler.

...But It's not so easy wall1, and I had to try a lot of kind of paper (at last i used 220 g/m2 drawing paper ) and I filled my room of paper ringlets.

Here below some picture of the final result

The result is quite good for me, but I have to refine my technique

In the mean time, as You ca see, I completed my Shuttle Endeveour ...

... and I have to test the build of a big, very big building .... ;-)
