Identifying AF Model

    Hi there. I've been told in another forum that this is an AF. Any more information you may have about it would be great. I am new to model trains and have been asked to find out for the owner.

    Tracks measure 7/8" inside, engine is about 8" long by 3" high.

    It looks like a "AF" 342AC Nickle Plare Switcher to me.

    I would say 99.99% that this is a 340 series 0-8-0 Nickel Plate Switcher Locomotive made by American Flyer.

    Thes guys are right..!! My engine is lettred for the Nickel Plate Road. I don't recall the number...(The engine is packed away...).
