Well, after a good few months of searching i think i have come across my perfect stock for my traction line - 2006 SEPTA PCC-IIs!!!

only problem is i have to wait for them to come out now. hopefully i can buy then direct from the manufacturer in the US and hopefully someone in the UK supplies Bowser PCC mechanisms!!
Mind you i like the Red Arrow double enders [http://ihphobby.tripod.com/hoimages/depccmaster01.jpg] and some of the "heavy rail" units too so my traction line might end up with a couple of oddballs (who`s to say a modern traction line wouldnt have brought some lighter versions of heavy rail transit cars?)
