I took an early retirement, my last day was Friday April 28. I'm setting up a pick up for a service truck and hope to work part time maintaining truck and trailer refrigeration for one or two small fleets. I've been working 5 days and having two day weekends for my whole life, I decided it was time to work 2 days and take 5 day weekends. My youngest daghter got married three weeks ago. We need to clean out her old bedroom and pull up the carpet to refinish the hardwood floor. Then my middle daughter will move into that room temporarily while we do her room. Then I will have a train room!

.....and if you seriously imagine that retirement means "more time" you are in for a shock! As someone who retired Christmas 2004 - I can tell you that I don't know how I found time to go to work, and that's a fact! Fact #2 is that I should have done it 20 years ago!But good luck and enjoy your "retirement" and may it be long and fruitful!
