I'm a little over half way done loading the gallery for this challenge.
I will hopefully be finished within a day or two. You can see the results so-far by clicking the link below.

If you are on dial-up still, like me, click the link, then go find an old Lady to help across the street, because it will take that long to load.

I tried really hard to not resize any images for this gallery. I wanted to show off your magnificence the way you intended. If you posted more than one pic, you may not see ALL that you posted. I had trouble with a couple pdf's for instance. I tried to keep multiple pics of the same model at a minimum.

I really wanted to show every single pic you all posted but I had to make decisions and I hope you all are pleased. I have made a Slideshow and a Screensaver for this and will upload them when I can (approx 6.61mb each)

THANK YOU ALL for a most enjoyable thread!

    Thanx John!

Now I have to admit failure. Posting the pics has turned out to be a nightmare my banged up head cannot handle. So, I will offer the Slideshow and Screensaver on my downloads page. The gallery will disappear after I post this. Sorry for the broken promise but the slideshow will be better than the webpage anyway.

    Give me until 10:00 this morning ( California time) and I will have the files to download . Here is the link to my downloads page;

    Most Excellent Phil!

Two thoughts (max I'm allowed in one day)

    * Divide your page into two or three ( I'm on dialup to) ~ This is a brilliant showcase for the forum and hobby = recruitment, so we don't want anyone strolling off.

    * A link to your page from the Home page here (Admins?). ~ Good way to wet the lips of potential new members.

    :)

    Too little, too late

I didn't snap these pics of a couple of my builds until after the challenge ended, but here are a couple of builds of my 1:48 scale DeHavilland Beaver model:

Why not use simple html? like this
    http://avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/fly2/jet/jet.html

Make it with notepad. It's not very fancy, but it gets the job done.
I have always hated the pagebuilders.....they have a tendency to mess up the code and favorize m$oft programs.

The Beavers are beautiful. Jim, will you be releasing these paint schemes and the skis?

Phil, maybe you're working too hard. You created the thread. It filled with lots of wonderful photos of models. It rests on this site. Anyone can view it. Isn't that good enough?

    Cheers --- Larry

I for one am good at driving them into the ground - someone else will need to kick them in the pants ;) he will still be watching and pipe in as he deems fit i am sure. At least he better!

Dude! You communicate better than me!

If you must be silent for a while that's ok........... but chime in a little bit every once in a while, just to let us know you're still there..........ok?

Heck, like goney said......... it was YOU that came up with the show-off threads, we didn't. The biggest MOST INTERESTING thread I ever participated in.
