http://www.thortrains.net/ has some stuff for HO scale. The terrain is toward the bottom of the page. Make sure you read and understand the information about the kind of files used and how to print them to scale.

There are quite a few train items out there. Lots of stuff especially for older european stuff. What genra are you aiming for? I think we should compile a nice list of train model sites.
