I hate to do this, this way but, I lost the link.

This Gauge member has a website with his train layout on it.
The layout has two ovals with some sidings on it.
I’m pretty sure he was near complete.

Sorry, I read through your description and nothing immediately rings any bells. Can you elaborate more on the layout? Scale, mountainous or flat, steam or diesel or both? As much as you can remember would help. What kinds of things do you remember the thread talking about or addressing?
