Here is another hopper, This on is from Athearn.
The 1st picture is of the prototype.The next three are of my model.

Hummerdaves, you are the "Master of Grime".

Hands down, you have some ot the best weathered rolling stock I have ever seen.

How did you do the rail? The hopper is excellent, some of the best weathering I have seen.

tweet469 The track was done with a custom mix of rust sprayed with a airbrush then I brush painted on some raw seinna gouache and let it dry.

Mighty fine work Dave! We need to convince you to do a tutorial or an article for the Gauge E-Zine. I always enjoy seeing how somebody does weathering, so far I haven't seen a wrong way to weather stuff. It's fun to learn lots of techniques and then apply them so your efforts all look different.

Thank's RailRon, No I did'nt do the lettering. I did add the wheel dot and the ACI label.
I am working on some custom painted item's which will have decal's on them we'll see
how those turn out????

2slim I may try to do something like that, I have to get a car that has'nt been strarted
on. Then remember to take a in the box shot???
