Here's what we got from our latest trip to the LHS:
Renvo, is that your layout? last pics I saw, there was no ground covering, looks good.
Nice! I really like that duff truck!!
Combat: We've been putting off getting it for a long long time, Today we saw it and said YES! today is the day...
Athearn truck right? Did you get a deal on it?
I was right!
Athearn - HO RTR Ford C w/28' Ribbed Trailer, Duff
Nice, I have never seen it before! Thanks for the picture.
*Drool* Atlas Master Piece van, I was hoping my LHS was going to have them when I went yesterday, they had none yet.
Yes that is my layout. I guess I will have to update my one thread.
Combat: Yes, we got a 20% discount..:thumb: and yes, it's Athearn
Jbaakko: We had reserve ordered one...wasn't gonna take the chance the LHS would get them in or not! They are very nice!:thumb:
Chessie, got anymore photo's of your layout? I'd like to see more.
Combat: Here's a few of the layout, kind of an overall view..
A couple of shots..
Love that UPS trailer Chessie!!!!
Went to the Train Show in San Diego this weekend and picked up four new rigs. The guy was selling them for $4.00 ea or 3 of them for $10.00. He only had 4 left so I asked him what about 4 for $12.00 and he said okay so I got 4 of them for $12.00
I might leave them as is or maybe re-paint them for a diffrent company, not sure yet. heres some pics of them tho
Wow, some really good pictures here. I haven't gotten anything to put up on this thread, but I'm waiting on some Old Dominion decals for a little in joke for my family. I don't know wether to go with cab-over or hood trucks though...
I dont believe Ive ever seen Cabovers with Old D's name on them before. I would go with a Mack CH 603 (promotex model). I see most of the Old D trucks with Mack and Frieghtliner cabs around here.
Thanks for the info TruckLover:thumb: BTW those are some NICE trucks you got!:thumb:
Your welcome  and thanks
Josh: Thanks! We've had the UPS trailers for a while but nothing to pull them with, finaly got an Atlas tractor..I remember seeing these Fords pullin UPS trailers back in the day.
Your new trucks look good as is:thumb: but would be a good start to your own gravel or coal hauling company..
