I am thinking of something like this, only my truck has a smaller body, so the tall cabinet directly behind the cab would be narrower and the whole thing would be shorter, I dont need a crane but I do want a set of HI-Rail whells on it. But just a basic MOW body that would look something like this. and how about a coat of paint to match my yellow truck? I like the large rear bumper that can serve as a work area like in the pic. I cant find many pics of Missabe
MOW (I model the Missabe) so I'd be happy with any MOW style body.

Looks easy enough. Though trying to match the yellow on the body of the truck is going to be hard, its better just to repaint the whole thing. This way you won't have mis-match paint job. Though some railroads, to save money, will remove the old utility body from an old truck(unless it is wrecked, or too far gone), and place it on a new chassis, giving a mis-match paint. This WOULD give your Hi-Rail charcter, and create a mini story in its self.

Three Wide.........

At the Desk Top 500.
As you can see(from the first pic I posted at the begining of the thread), my HO scale NASCAR collection is growing(Still gonna incorparate them into the layout). I'm up to eighteen.

The second picture is me playing with the closeup feature.(Mmmmm, didn't know the camera let you know when it was in focus...It beeped)This is about two inches away.

No Target here...Yet...gotta wait til October. The one here is still under construction.
But the Wal-Mart here had the nine pack, with the military services. They had a special display with all the teams that ran Military Logos on their cars Memorial Day Weekend. I did pick up a 1/24th Dale Jr.(but you're a Dale Jarrett fan!!) Camo car, with the Bud on the hood.

The best one is the pick-up truck.
I dulled the paint, after taking it apart, with a couple coats of Krylon Krystal Koat (Satin, not gloss), added a driver and a dog, some Prieser crates in the back, and bingo...

88fan: Cool looking pickemup truck. Wally World was out of them but I did get the Trans Am, Belvadere, and GTO. I'm hoping they get some more in, I definetly want a couple of those trucks.
How hard is it to take them apart?

Combat: Nice looking trucks, who makes them?

I saw where Walthers has two of the latest releases from
Fresh Cherries, 1974 AMC Hornet and a 1971 Mustang, anyone bought them yet?

Couple more Wally-World cheapies.
2000+ T-Bird, '74 AMC Hornet, '71 Mustang.
Someones gotta make some of these cheapies for cars made today. Hate to populate a layout in todays time era, with cars from the '70's.
Of course..I added drivers.

Scraped the paint, applied Scalecoat "Aged Concrete" in spots for Bondo, Coat of "Rustall", before I added the driver.

Seventeen year old Billy's first car. Only paid $300 for it......
...Well...At least it runs good.....
