    Actually as for the intake issue its a matter of them being different versions of the aircraft. the version Marek modeled was the 2nd prototype. This one actually flew but only accumulated 2 hours total flight testing before crashing on 18 February 1945. The plane that still exists was the 3rd prototype which was in the final assembly stages when the allies overran the factory. the 3rd prototype had the engines moved forward within the airframe and revised intakes.

    Nice build and a great subject.
    It seems to me I remember seeing a National Geo story about how this may have actually been the first "Stealth" aircraft.
