Home made bolt heads.

    For you HO scalers I take the metal head type straight pins & chuck them in my dremel tool. I then spin this pin head on top of a metal file until I get the right diameter, of coarse looking thru my magnifiers. I then round over the newly shaped bolt head slightly to give it that carriage bolt head look for those that are looking tooooo close but it will be there. I also place many of these on a piece of foam board & paint them. I then cut them off leaving a small shank to push into a pre drilled hole. Some of you larger scaled modelers could probably use these as is without grinding them down. Jim
