Homabed question

It's been awhile since I've posted on here and this question has probably already been answered before, but here it goes anyway! What kind of adhesive works best when laying down Homabed to a foam surface? I'm thinking Liquid Nails, will this be fine or are there other recommendations???

My thought would be to use white glue. I think it will stay in
place just fine, but if you ever decide to re-route any tracks,
it has a better chance of being removed. Otherwise, the
Liquid Nails should be fine, I think there is a foam-friendly
type that won't eat the foam. (yum yum)

Hi,
I haven't used homabed but I have made scenary out of pieces of homasote. White glue worked for me but one must secure the homasote firmly to make sure it sticks while the glue dries. I'd go with the liquid nails. I used it successfully. It adheres quickly and firmly so take care when placing the road bed.

I agree with Ralph, use the liquid nails for foam. The homasote, or upsom, or ceiling tile abosrbs the water out of the glue too quickly and causes a weak joint to foam IMHO. FRED

Liquid Nails will work fine with foam.
