I know the ATSF never had these but I love DL109's and decided to do these. They are not done yet but here they are so far.

So who cares if the SF never had these units...Betcha when they see them, they're gonna wish they had...

are you sure the ATSF didn't have those? I remember seeing a photo of one in the silver warbonnnet scheme. Maybe I am thinking of a different loco...

Kevin, you are right, the ATSF had one DL109 (#50L) and one DL110 (#50A) . They got them in May 1941 and they were scrapped in 1960. They were painted in the silver red warbonnet scheme.

Mike, very good job on your DLs, they look great.

Kevin , CNW is correct and it is why when Walther made them you could only get 1 road number in it and they all sold out right away.
I had plenty of passenger locos so decided to do these in freight.
PS keep your eyes peeled for ATSF Intermountain F7 Freights to be out in May.
