here is the plan of the new layout

it it in n scale and it is 9 x 7 in a L and it's 36 inches wide ans it is a 2 level layout but i came to a blind stop on where to put run the yard into the main line any help would be help full

Hi scoobyloven, cannot see where you could put a yard in the plan, as you seem to have got a little too much track as it is.However, if you removed the doubleslip and supporting tracks which also acts as a reverse loop, it would be possible to add a yard there.

here is the frist plan my wife liked she would love the long main line run on it and she would be able to get those passenger cars for me

Thats a better plan, I like that one. Yards on the bottom and a three level layout also. Good scenic options, I see it as a mountain type railroad.

yes it is shamus and i made the draw last night it is the one i'm going to do. next weekend i should start on the bench work and order the track and road bed and hopefuly bye the time it comes in the bench work should be almost done....
