hmmm...let's see. If I could send the little lady to live with the kids in Seattle for 10 years or so that would free up about 37' x 21'. Still too small. :( Guess I could put a tent outside - that would give me an additional 10' .....he mumbles to himself.:D :D :D

I think the only way to compete with that is for me to sell all my belongings (to get the $$$ necessary) and build a RR with islands in every room of the house, via holes in the walls, and include a 10' tall helix to the upstairs rooms.

I think I can leave room enough for a cot.:D

    Pictures of my layout

    David

I can run 6 long trains at a time (40-50 cars) with 3 locos each.
The layout is not completed yet, so no operating sessons yet.
    The layout is DC.

    Rich

My very understanding wife says I had no childhood, work, work, work, so Im having it now . Bless her.

    Gavin

Did not mean to put you off about the DC3. Was waiting for a new catalog, so I could get it to you.

    Just one word: WOW !!!!

Man ... this layout is huge ... like a dream come true ... you must be really proud of it ... I'd love to have a layout that cool !!!

Do you wanna mary me ? I'm not gay but I'd do anything to have a layout like that in my house ! Oh ... better, do you want to adopt me ? I'm 24 but I can mow the lawn and I earn my own pocket money !

    :) :) :)

Even better: when I buy my home (in 2 or 3 years...) I'll build my own ... that's gonna be so much fun ! For now ... I'll stick to my 3x7 N scale ... dreaming of Ray's layout !

Thanks for sharing such great emotions !

    Alex

If your ever headed south on I-75 in Ohio, let me know, we are just minutes from the interstate, and gladly let you see the layout in person.

My youngest is 42, so you would have to be a grandson.
