    Thought I would try Inkscape out and down loaded it from Internet, but
    when I try to launch it I get the following Error mesage;
    LIBGTK-WIN32-2.0-0.DLL
    file is linked to missing export
    COMDLG32.DLL;PrintDlgExw
    I don't know computers that well. Can some one help?
    I am running Windows 98SE on an old DELL XPS T550
    also I don't know why this post is in the SCI-FI catagory
    how do I place it in another to start with?

    I think you might be out of luck trying to run Inkscape on Win 98SE. Inkscape
    really needs a 32-bit operating system like Windows 2000/XP/Vista? to run.
    The error message you got reflects that Inkscape couldn't find a resource
    it expected to find in the O/S.

    I guess you could try to build the thing from the source code but I doubt that would work either.

    Regards,

    Charlie

    Thanks for the help and I belive your right Charlie. I did not download from
    Inkscape's site but from one of the free sites that listed win98 as a platform. After going to Inkscape's site, like OWI suggested, it tells you that win98 is no longer supported. Anyone have any other ideas along Inkscape lines for use with windows 98se.
