help putting a MRC sound decoder in an advance consist

Im trying to put a MRC diesel syncronized sound decoder in an advance consist. I programmed CV19 to the addess and set CV21 to 1 to share all functions like it said in the book. But it won't work. The decoder will not react to the new address Can anyone help me? Thanks

What DCC System are you using to program the MRC decoder and what MRC decoder are you using¿

Im using the Digitrax DB150 command station. I have the diesel syncro sound decoder. The series that came out right before the Brilliance series. I think the 1631. I lost my paper that came with it. I know it does advance consist. Right now I got it programed with the same address as the other train and it seems to be working good so far.

Re-set CV21 back to 0 and see what happens.
