I have plans buried in my stack of old MRs that I'll have to dig out but one way to power them is by mounting an old aquarium pump under the model. It was one of the ways it was done in the old daze.:thumb: The vibration will move a freewheeling mill or vanes very well.

Why not run a piece of clear tubing and use the air to turn the blades? I built an HO scale windmill from a brass etched kit and a little airflow make it spin like crazy.

thats a good idea too...

The whole thing got me to thinking about something like a wheeled filter that hangs over the top of an aquarium... maybe robbing it of its mechanism as long as it doesnt have to be water cooled.

You guys are great for ideas! :)
