Ground Pastel & Graphite

    Whell, I'm back up. Sorry for no pics but I just moved and I can't find the camera. Anyway on with the show:

    You need your scalple, some pastel chalk type things, and of course paper.

    For making a kindof rough texture like leather I take my scalpel and shave off a bit of a pastel with the color I want. It comes off rather like a powder. I just mix colors like paint till I get the right color.Then you just take a bit on your finger and spread it on a piece of paper, looks pretty realistic.

    Once you are done with the pastel dusting, you can use ordinary hair spray (good) or Testors Dullcote or Krylon #1311 Matte Finish (Best) to lock it in!
