The lower part of the airscoop. A little thumbnail shaped piece, faired on ok but I think the other side will have to be a bit closer...

Finished wing, faired into the fuselage... The wing fillet seemed anticlimatic, but it was necessary to fair into the lower aft wing root.

Wings are finished onto the landing gear. The main struts were done close to the beginning. The other parts are made of wire from the templates, the rear supports are covered with a card piece. The little doors were added to keep from losing them.

    Finished!

I placed the canopy, opened up, onto the kit no biggy. The opening part pivots to the right, similar to the 109s. I added a little strut that was in a pic, I guess this closes it up.

Great build - terrific results. If mine comes out half as good I'll be happy. I'm saving this thread as a link, and I'll refer to it while building mine.
    Regards,
    Don

Thankyou guys one and all. The marraige is Ok, about as secure as Al and Peg Bundy's, but all is forgiven. The plane went together well, fit was excellant! The only mishaps with fit were more me then the kit. The detail was good, but a little sparse, the instructions were good as a guide, but they needed a little clarity. The pics and diagrams helped greatly, but a few more diagrams would've helped with a few of the unfamiliar parts. Subject was excellant, and coloring pretty close. I'd give this kit a 9.4 for the above reasons. Now on to the next one................
