I'm Maps, hailing from overheated Tucson Az.
I had always played with paper a little bit, but I really got into cardstock modeling after I found a book called the "Paper Astronaut." But the models needed extra details, so I started looking around online, found the Lower Hudson stash of models and I got hooked.
My first completed model was Ton's Saturn V, which I think's a really great intro to paper models. She's a little rough around the edges, but I had days of fun building the big rocket. Huge note of thanks to Ton.
Then I found Uhu02's Huey, Dewy, and Louis from Silent running and went on from there. Next up for me is his Spacepod from 2001. Just cant wait.
