GPM U-60 Blackhawk at 1-72 scale

    This is the progress I have made continuing from the thread "guess what I'm making"...to make the thread topic a little clearer....I am working on the engine housing and you can see it and the rear frame sitting upon the fuselage....the macro lens shows it all!:oops: :-o

    U-60 Engine housing finished

    I've pretty much finished the engine housing on top of the U-60....maybe I'll finish this before New Years!:twisted:

    Great job, how is the fit so far, did you have to do any/alot of trimming?

    The fit was overall good....I made a mistake on not making the framework out of
    thicker cardstock...and got some strange panel lines as the build went on....and I had to adjust some in the fit of the outer panels especially along the bottom and the final 2 tail sections....the color was completly redone....the original was way too brown for my taste....I think that this will be my only build of this creature...the complexity of the multiple curved surfaces is mind-bodgeling....but it has been most challenging!....but not something that I will repeat!!!:razz: :razz: :razz:

    U-60 Blackhawk...continuing fuselage...

    This is the work that I did on this "tadpole" over the weekend...it's got flaws a many...but I shall not tarry...and shall complete this...eventually!!!:roll:

    you can get the fullsize pre printed kit from www.papermodelstore.com

    should be able to get the model for 10 or 15 bucks

    and as always keep an eye on ebay
