Is it possible to import a model from google sketchup onto pepakur designer and unfold it from there?

Yes, export your Sketchup model as a Google Earth 4 .kmz file. Pepakura can open that.

Feel free to follow and contribute to my thread on using Sketchup and Pepakura:

In Pepakura, just open the file.
When the "Open" dialog comes up, just look for the file you exported from Sketchup. It should have a .kmz extension.
    Good luck,

Pepakura is trying to make the model on a single page(not sure about this).
You can make the model more big by doing this: Go to 2DPatternWindow and select Scale Up Development by 10%

Oh. It worked. However, when I unfold every model produced through sketchup, the results seem the same....The parts are jumbled up and the tabs are so enlarged....any help?

some little tips for pepakura, hope it help you:
    1. cut line before import to pepakura. It's easier and quicker to do.
    2. When unfold in pepakura, don't tick on Auto, then another window 'll appear. Now chose Specify Value, then ajust the scale that you want [by height]
    3. Import small parts at once, not the whole model at the same time. That way you 'll arrive to manage parts better.
    4. When modelling the less faces you use the better result you receive.

If you know them already then sorry to spam here :p

    Regards,
    Kezn.

How would I "Cut up the model" To import a few pieces at a time?

you need to do it at the 3d program.
select the line you want to cut, then depend on the program you use, may the button named "cut" "" "detach" "split" etc..
another tip: pepakura often weld line or vertex [point] if thredshold litter than 0.01 [cm I think], so to avoid it you should better move parts aside a littler, after cut them out.
