Georgetown man honoured

Will always be re-membered
As a resident of Georgetown I was pleased to hear that Canadian National has honoured employee and local resident Richard Boyer through its President's Award for Excellence program for 2001.
Boyer of Georgetown who works at the transportation company as terminal manager at Intermodal at Brampton, recently earned the award for people management. "It's very flattering, I am happy,"said Boyer. "it's an honour."
Boyer is credited with turning Brampton's Intermodal Terminal into one of the most productive and effective terminals in the CN system. Productivity enhancements came through the provision of proper tools for employees to work with. He has been with CN for 28 years in various positions.
