G Scale, O Scale, Gauge 1 Live Steam Pics

    Thats a neat link ST wish I could afford to get that loco but the gauge is smaller than I would want.

    That's OK. I'm glad you enjoyed looking. The picture was taken at Durand, Michigan during their Railroad Days festival last year. Durand was, and still is, a famous crossroads for trains in Michigan. We will be back this year in May. See our schedule at http://www.smallscalelivesteamers.info/

    Since this is supposed to be O scale live steam as well as G Scale, I thought I'd post this picture of my only O scale live steam locomotive. It is a Maxwell Hemmens Ogwen. It was photographed at the Pennsylvania Live Steamers park. The track was Mike Moore's dual gauge, (O and G) portable track.

    It was what we call a good plume day, cool and damp. If you look closely at the plume, you can even see the exhaust chuffs!

    When did you take that picture, was it during a meet at PLS?

    It was Memorial Day weekend, 2001 at the PLS.
