Well - here's the draft of the new JGBSMF&W RR

It's a 14 X 8 Ft G Gauge railway. There will be amoung other things:

~~~~ A Transfer Table that works
~~~~ A 3' Curved Wooden Bridge

~~~~ Provisions for "Storing Trains" - Something we do not have now
~~~~ And It is not DCC - However, it will be Remote Controlled "Crest Electronics"

If you see any problems - let me know now :) :)

Thanks!!!!

N Gauger...

...? Haaaaaa.

I appreciate your post even though you travel N-cog-neato. You have mentioned G and other scales as well. I am pullin' out my G stuff for the X-mas layout.

It's kewl to see a rip roarin' layout like this- I've thought about it a few times with the few G trains I have- just for the fuN of it.

Hats off to you.

Here are a couple pics from the beginnings of the trestle bridge.

First, the Jig & a trestle without the angle braces:
The Jig has 2 finished "logs" on either end. The second from top is a plain wooden dowel. The Trird shows a dowel after it's been scuffed up and the "knot holes" marked on it.

Then 1 with 2 trestles finished and the Climax & Mr Rodger's trolly making the inspection runs. :) :)
They are 9-1/2" tall.
