Northside train store was dumping their HO Con-cor locomotives on the weekend; went back today to pick up a Cotton Belt unit after I checked the prices at Walthers online.

$69.98US for an SD-35, although Walthers only noted Conrail and Seaboard as available now - it appears as though Con-cor is discontinuing these units, so once a store is out of a roadname, they're out for good.

The price that RIMike paid for his first Cotton Belt unit: $39.95CDN (converted based on exchange rate at xe.com: $25.40US).

( I don't plan on having many Cotton Belt locos, but my research indicates that either their trackage parallels the Rock's for much of the way from Wichita to Amarillo, or they have running rights on Rock trackage, cause they have a bunch of clients along the route. Soooo...........).
