I remember that one.
I got a bunch of'em myself. Then again I would. I'm a PC Hardware Tech where I work. Welll... When the doc releases me back from this back stuff.
My fav concerns a guy wanting to return a PC after attempting some 'home' repairs. The shortest I remember is a woman who had trouble with the 'foot pedel;' turns out it was the mouse and she thought it was like her computerized sewing machine.

Humans are soooo entertaining.

Very good Shamus, at least now I know I'm not alone in the area of computer knowledge, or should I say the lack of it.

In a previous career, I worked on phones...my best was the trainer who swore a phone wasn't working....I walked over and plugged it in for her...
At least I kept my job :))

It happens everywhere, not just pc's!!

Fits me as well. I'm a retired engineer (I think) from IBM. About 20 years ago I was in my den cursing the computer and my son (who was about 10 years old) opens the door and says "Dad, it's not the computer" and proceeds to close the den door. He is now a programmer and I'm still cursing at the damn
programming instructions. Jim
