Guys, acouple of years ago I ran accross a French website that had a
wealth of info about scratchbuilding ranging from roofing to how to
make your own stone walls and many others but in a crash I have lost
the name and address for it does this sound familiar to anyone?
    Thanks Pat

    Pat,

another French (Swiss-french to be exact) source was the website of Gilbert Gribi, building fantastic narrow gauge models and mini-layouts (American & French prototype). He had a wealth of hints and tricks on his site. (One thing I remember was to use a CD and the center of its jewel case to construct a small turntable with a very precise bearing.)

I'm sorry to say that his website no longer exists. So far I couldn't find out, if he has a new website or not. I'll write Gilbert an e-mail (if his address still is active), and I'll keep you informed.

    Ron
