...For some reason I can't put big pictures into the gallery......... Oh well, had to resize them~~ The aircraft can't stand on its wheels so I'm waiting to build a SS1 to hopefully balance it ^^ But, as far as the free model competition is concerned, this build is finished

Great job! I've had the WK and SS1 in my build queue for ages. I really need to get cracking.

How do you find the durability of the completed WK? It looks kind of spindly, so I'm concerned about long term display and warping.

    Matt.

Edit: Well, I guess I'm officially no longer a lurker.

Thanks! The WK I did in the first attempt 2 years ago was indeed a bit wobbly, but this time I used some reinforcements (please refer to post #8 ) and the model can be held by hand from one wingtip ;) And the fuselage was quite strong anyway.

---And yea, please stop lurking and show us some models of yours!!!

I like it very much. The slender lines of the airplane are corresponding with your clean build.

Excellent Lex !! You've set the bar nice and high for the rest of the entrants ;)

That's a very slick build that really captures the fine lines of the plane. The engines and u/cart are very neat for what look like fiddly parts.

Where can i download this little gem. The website states on vacation and am looking for an alternate download if possible. I am an aviation maint. tech student and we are building SS1 and the White Knight for Space Days in October. Our instructor states that the wingspan on our composit model will be 90 inches.

Its a awsome model and some of my classmates seem to think paper modeling is childsplay. They dont see how fun and how much detail you can really get and the fact it has nothing to do with playstation LOL.

    best regards

    Lex,

Nice build. Looks very realistic. Considering the type of craft this is, the build looks very stable and straight.

I agree, those tiny wheels are tough, plus I don't use a knife of any kind... --It's really fortunate that I could colour them with black marker in the end ^^
