Wow, Shamus, that is spectacular (as usual)! I really like the depth of the scene, which is especially evident in the second 2 layout shots. How wide was your benchwork at that point? What has become of this layout?

Hi gang, thanks, The RSV lived for just 18 months LOL
Val, that part of the layout was I think around 4' to 4'-6" wide.

incredible, simply incredible. This is why I never get anything done. You keep posting all of these great photos and I spend my time on the computer looking rather than down in the layout room building a railroad:D :D :) :)

Was that 18 month from start to demolition, or 18 month from completion to demolition?
With the pace that you build and demolish layouts, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was from start to complete to nothing :)
I only wish that I one day could get just close to something as complete and detailed as that.

That was 18 months from start to new empty room :D to start all over again.

I just love this hobby - If you don't like it, change it.
