Pretty cool to see some of your old work! Were the buildings scratch built back then too? That's odd seeing diesels on your layout! Very nice! You probably remember each layout like a good viking remembers all the girls...

Wow, Shamus, that is spectacular (as usual)! I really like the depth of the scene, which is especially evident in the second 2 layout shots. How wide was your benchwork at that point? What has become of this layout?

Hi gang, thanks, The RSV lived for just 18 months LOL
Val, that part of the layout was I think around 4' to 4'-6" wide.

Was that 18 month from start to demolition, or 18 month from completion to demolition?
With the pace that you build and demolish layouts, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was from start to complete to nothing
I only wish that I one day could get just close to something as complete and detailed as that.
