I just bought this kit on eBay. Has anyone here built it? If so what did you think of it, and how did it go together?

I've been eyeing that monster at the Hobby Factory, but it's too steep for my budget. Hope you got a good deal.

I got it for 20 Euros, so about 12 bucks less than what the Hobby Factory wants.

I just checked out the wingspan again...over a metre...she who must be obeyed will not be pleased.

I have been looking for a model of the plane for quite some time. My problem is I'm too cheap. Hope it turned out well.

Thanks for the Link Jim. Looks abit intimidating, think I'll be looking for an A3 scanner for that one.

Intimidatingly large... yes... But sure is a beautiful design. Just wish you have the courage to complete it :D

    I love this plane.

My advice: Scan the kit and build it as a 1:48 or 1:72.
Unless you want to build an Ascension Island diorama in your spare bedroom!!

Or waterproof it and plunk it down in a swimming pool and say it's a model/ diorama from the movie Thunderball!

Well don't look at me, I haven't even finished the aerodynamic testbed yet
(the wing root fuselage intersection is a right ... err ...difficult)

What's the tail#? Bird in TB was XH588 IIRC, I have it in plastic on my bench, and they have it full-scale in the shop to fly again over in the UK.
