I have both hands raised. I would buy a larger one, probably 2 for your hard work. I would try to repaint it in U. S. Coast Guard colors.

i would greatly consider buying a copy as well nobi
especially if it has inside details and such

thats what really makes me tick is the details

looks like you are gonna have to consider making the new model

Nobi ... any problems finding suitable reference pics for the C130 Spectre?

I have a Prop. Planes book with 2 large color plates of top front and side views.

I dont have any of the newer 'Spooky'. I just may be interested in picking up a copy of this and the regular AC130... Just need more personal space right now. =o

    Nobi,

You should be able to make an industry out of supplements to your basic C-130. There have been so many variations, you could keep modelers busy for years! :-D

    • C-130 A
    • C-130 B
    • C-130 E
    • C-130 H
    • C-130 J Has 5-bladed props!
    • AC-130A/H/U Gunship
    • MC-130P "Combat Shadow"
    • KC-130 USMC Tanker
    • HC-130N/P Combat Rescue
    • DC-130 Drone Launcher
    • EC-130 "Commando Solo" Electronic Warfare
    • LC-130 Has skis for landing on snow!
    • WC-130 Weather Recon

Not to mention repaints! USCG, Blue Angels Support C-130, USAF: Southeast Asia/European 1/Air Superiority Gray/etc. And all the other countries that use the C-130! How about the British "stretch" C-130?

And don't forget the hovercraft landing gear variant.

And the carrier 'based' variant (although that one would just be a very subtle matter of a/c numbers more than anythig else)

Now I feel left out. No EC-130H Compass Call? Given the [sarcasm] HUGE appeal of this aircraft [/sarcasm] NOBI could probably sell... well, 1.. to me.

    Larger C-130

    Hi all,
I built 2 versions of Nobis C130. One printed on A4 and then another printed on A3 both made out of 200gsm paper and they both came out great. The A3 version one was a pain to get home as it filled the back of the car up. Got some strange looks on the way.

Well worth a go in A3 or larger...

    NOBI,

I don't know if you're aware of this site or not, but Hercules Headquarters is a C-130 enthusiast site with a large picture gallery showing many different varieties of the 'Herc.'
