I have three loco's running with Tsunami sound.
In the C class and the K27 i installed the decoders myself and they work perfect.
The decoder in the 2-6-6-2 articulated was installed by mr Bachmann.
In the two selfinstalled decoders fireman Fred's clones do their job excellent but fireman Fred on the articulated is on strike.
I tried to activate him with CV 201 set to 255 (random generator on 100%) and CV 148 on 128 ( half volume)
Still not on the job!
Is there something i forgot?
Is there someone out there who can inlighten me... HELP!!

Ton,

Do you have a manual with the articulated? There are a couple different Tsunami decoders and it is possible that there are some differences between them; The articulated might have the medium steam Tsunami instead of the light stream Tsunami
I don't know why, but I like the sound from my Hon3 Blackstone C-19 better than my On30 Bachman Climax when they run on DC; and they both carry factory installed Tsunamis

I don't know if this is a speaker difference, a programing difference or a hardware difference, but I am ecstatic, as the C-19 runs and sounds better running on DC than any other dual mode equipped locomotive I have seen so far.
