I recently stated building a Timber deck truss bridge following some instuctions from the book Model Railroad Bridges and Trestles, I have most of my wood all cut allready, and I need to buy whashers and bolt in HO scale to make it real.
Remember guys I'm new to the game,I'm so new that I dont have a layout jet, but I'm building a bridge as I put it toguether I will include pictures so the good guys can point out my errors.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Carlos. Before you do any building it is always a good idea to stain your wood first. If you get any glue on the wood where it shouldn't be the stain will not take in that area.Just take everything slow and you shouldn't run into too many problems.Above all, have a good time doing it and good luck. Canada, eh?
Carlos, a good source for nut/bolt/washer castings, in styrene, is Grandt Line. They have a wide variety of sizes, starting at about 1/2" or 3/4", all the way up to 3" or 4", with both round and square washers, ideal for bridges and other heavy timber structures.
