I got a new Altas Dash 8-40BW for Christmas:D but it won't go!

It's got a Lenz LEO63XF decoder... I put it on my track(digitrax empire builder)... dialed up address 03... got the lights to come on but it won't budge... am I missing something, or have I got a faulty decoder?

Don't the Atlas locos which come with decoders have a plug that has to be turned 180 degrees? I think they come set for DC operation. Pretty sure its located under the dynamic brake blister. Ought to say in the instructions.

Some hobby shops have also been known to setup the decoder with the road number as the address ... give it a try ... there also is a decoder reset procedure for that decoder. Down load and read the manual from the Atlas website.

I own a couple of those pups and they work quite well.
