Hi Robin, Cherrywood is a old village dates back to around 1875 I think so thats where the name comes from . Its situated on the
top end of Dixie road north of old Finch.
Its great for Photo shots as we have the CP running in and out of the Mc Cowan yards, and CN running over the 401 crossing the CP at the back of the ZOO.
Guess what we hear at night yep That lonesome ruddy big horn
But I do like it.
How did you like the trainshow Dave said he met up with you???

Cheers fo now.
Chris.

PS would you like some more pics of around about posting??

It was great to have the opportunity to meet Dave and to see his fine workmanship. The show always has things of interest from the how tos and talking to folks and admiring layouts. Some neat narrow gauge dioramas this year.
Did you get to it Chris?
More pictures are always welcome

Thanks for the photos and info Chris. I would like a tour like that too of the Sperry car.
My dog is a Dalmation and got the name Scamp when he was a pup. Now ten years later the name still sticks

Come on Robin you just got to post a pic of Scamp, jon
would never forgive you if you failed.

They had stored that unit up north I forget where, the cold weather had done damage to the interia ceiling so they had put a lovely wood panel in there the living area was very cosy.
The tech stuff mind boggling:eek:

Cheers.
Chris.
