    ummm ... this is not the Excelsior. I see loose references in design but not the actual ship.

    The reason why I say this is the hull bears the name but technically it should'nt. Especially since the NCC-2000 design WAS the Excelsior. Perhaps he should rename it to a Synonym based on the name. Ascender? Or just NX-200X Transwarp Experiment. lol

    It looks like a combination of the Excelsior and the Stargazer. Cool looking ship!!

    I love this kind of stuff. When I was in school (before the Internet, and PCs even), I would trace and combine all kinds of different Starship parts creating my own designs. Now there's a program that you can do that in (Star Ship Generator 1 and 2)

    Yeah! Your right... I wonder if the Stargazer/Constellation class was created from this concept.
