Well - I was at it again.... :)

I found a need for a New Bumper and liking to use different things as bumpers, I decided to tear apart a small Ore Hopper

First pic: Here's the car body full of coal acting as a bumper for the end of the siding:

Second pic: But now I have a 3 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" long Truck from the car to make something else out of. :) :)

Thord Pic: This is what the truck looks like in front of the 1:20.3 Climax

All I need now is an idea?

What to build?? What do you think??

You should build one of them little back-woods type work caboose type trucked thing. A-La Casey Feedwater. You can get a good idea from any one of his work train cars.

If you're looking for a bit of whimsey, how about mounting an outhouse on it for the comfort of your train crews. Maybe with a sign on the door saying "Use only while crossing trestle".

Or how about a small crane car?
